Wanda Louise (Graham) Plemmons Bean

Wanda Louise Graham Plemmons Bean, 95, of St. Charles, Missouri, formerly of Poplar Bluff, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, surrounded by family.

Wanda was born Nov. 9, 1927, in Peach Orchard, Arkansas. She was a devout Christian and a founding member of Stringtown Baptist Church. She witnessed for Jesus throughout her life – even in her final days – reminding us to love everyone, trust in the Lord, and do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

She is survived by her sister, Carma Graham Mannon; her children, Linda (Bryan) Brister and Nancy Lee; 18 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; seven great-great -grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including devoted caregiver, Kristi Fletcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Dollie Graham; her husband, Charles Floyd Plemmons; her second husband, Andy Bean; four children, Charles Richard Plemmons, Sandra Louise Plemmons, Cathy Plemmons DeRemer, and infant child, Linda Kay Plemmons; one son-in-law, Kim Lee; two siblings, Othrine Graham Warne and Edith Graham Chism; one grandchild, Christa Nicole Brister; and one infant great-grandchild, Cheyenne Carpenter.
