Rose Ann Fears

Rose Ann Fears, 70, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025.

She was born on June 6, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York, to William Gallagher and Alice (McKay) Gallagher.

Rose was a long-time resident of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She enjoyed painting, crafts, watching horror movies, playing mahjong, she was the neighborhood mom for all the kids. Rose really loved to volunteer at the Bred Shed.

Rose is survived by two sons, Jamie Vaughn, and Danny Vaughn; three daughters, Dawn Sharkey, Sue Ann Walmsley, and Joyce (Bobby Trusty) Walmsley; her father, William Gallagher; two brothers, William Gallagher, and Chris Gallagher; four sisters, June Gallagher, Chris Spears, Leslie Gallagher, and Jannette Gallagher; four grandchildren, Katalina Vaughn, Serenity Knox, Curtis Hesselrode, Jr., and Angel Hesselrode; and one great grandchild, Charles Hesselrode. Rose is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Gallagher. A host of family and friends also survive.

Rose was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all.
