Roger Edward Richmond, 60, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 25, 1966 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Edgar Richmond and Gertrude Marie (Parsons) Richmond.

Roger loved being outdoor, hunting and fishing any chance he could. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Roger is survived by his love, Martha Richmond; one son Joseph (Kait) Richmond; two stepsons, Tim Schenks, and Terry Schenks; one brother, Stanley (Kimberly) Richmond; one sister, Bernice “Cookie” Bradley; two grandchildren, Kellan, and Quinn; two step grandchildren, Kassandra, and Dawson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Gertrude Richmond. A host of family and friends survive.

Celebration of Life will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Stephens Cemetery in Grandin, Missouri. The family plans on meeting in the parking lot of Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home at 11 a.m. to drive to the cemetery. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
