Richard Allen McDowell

Richard Allen McDowell, 71, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025.

He was born February 17, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Vinnie McDowell and Mary Jo (Street) McDowell.

Richard enjoyed going to the casino, and playing his guitar. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Richard is survived by two daughters, Rhonda (Jerry) Herr, and Stacie (Shane) Clark; one sister, Susan; six grandchildren, Albert, Mariah, Noah, Jazmine, Autumn, and Colby; and seven great grandchildren, Delilah, Ava, Levi, Aubrielle, Nova, Jax, and Emelia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vinnie and Mary Jo McDowell; one brother David McDowell; and two sisters, Helen, and Gwen. A host of family and friends also survive.
