Richard Letson, Jr.

Richard Carlton Letson, Jr., 69, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 26, 1956, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Richard Letson, Sr. and Donna (Dahlgren) Letson.

Richard loved playing his upright bass, listening to music, and spending time with his family. He served in both the US Army and Marines.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Riki (Jarret Ward) Letson of Poplar Bluff; one brother David Letson; one sister, Darlene Letson Thomas; two grandchildren Janie Letson and J.J. Ward. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Donna Letson; and one brother Daniel Leson. A host of family and friends also survive.
