Norma Jean (Taylor) Kester

Norma Jean Taylor Kester, 68, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Oakdale Caring Center.

She was born on November 25, 1956, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Perry Taylor and JoAnna (Bischoff) Taylor.

Norma was a long-time resident of Bernie.  She enjoyed sewing, and collecting knick-knacks.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Norma is survived by two sons, Terry (Rosetta) Kester, and Phillip Kester; three brothers, Harold Taylor, Carmon Taylor, and Adam Taylor; one sister, Sindy Taylor; and six grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Joanna Taylor, and her daughter Crystal Kester Whitney.  A host of family and friends survive.

Graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Mole Hill Cemetery in Broseley with Pastor Dewight Hensley officiating.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
