Linda Jean Pennington

Linda Jean Pennington, 74, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, in her home.

She was born Feb. 13, 1949, Poplar Bluff to the late Joseph and Eunice (Gowen) Pennington.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Butler County.  She was a member of Recycling Grace Church.  Linda enjoyed watching old westerns on T.V. and spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by one son: Joe (Gina) Joiner Jr.; four daughters: Donna (Keith) Lang, Amber (Jeffrey) Vernon, Bobbi (Matt) Grandon and Brandy (Brandon) Metz; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eunice Pennington; three brothers; one sister and one daughter: Melissa Adams Wells.

Celebration of Life will be at 2  p.m.  Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Recycling Grace Ministries at 503 Apple in Poplar Bluff.  The family request no flowers be sent but if you would like to donate to Recycling Grace Women’s Center at 601 Apple in Poplar Bluff in Linda’s name.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
