Larry Norman Leeds, Sr., 69, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Oakdale Nursing Home of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He was born on November 09, 1956, in Creve Coeur, Missouri, to Norman George Leeds and Isabelle L. LaFlam. On December 19, 2009 Larry married Sheri L. Bell, in Poplar Bluff.

Larry was of the Baptist faith and attended church at Fellowship General Baptist of Poplar Bluff. He was a past president of the SEMO Hog Club, past president of AASP Poplar Bluff, past TPA president Poplar Bluff chapter, he was a Kansas City BBQ Society Master Judge, he was a leader for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts earning the Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed singing karaoke with friends, riding motorcycles, going boating, fishing, playing pool, drag racing in Sikeston and Memphis. Above all Larry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and dogs. Larry proudly owned Larry Leeds Quality Automotive from January 2, 1991 until he retired in 2014.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Sheri L. Leeds; one son, Larry Norman (Rebecca) Leeds, Jr.; one daughter, Crystal Ann Leeds; one bonus son, Donald (Amy) Gilliam; one sister, Norma Jean Starkey; two grandchildren, Nathan Leeds, and Annabelle Leeds; three bonus grandchildren, Timothy, Matthew, and Jeffery; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Billie Snowden; and several fur babies and grand fur babies. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Norman and Isabelle Leeds; one brother, Johnny Leeds; and his brother-in-law, William Starkey, II. A host of family and friends survive.

Visitation will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 04, 2026 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel at 366 College Street, Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. with Pastor Byron Beck officiating. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
