Johnny Moore

Johnny W. Moore, 89, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died May 6, 2014. He was born October 1, 1924 in Hendrickson, Mo. to the late John W. Moore and Thurza Fudge Moore. He was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff. Before retiring, Johnny had worked in Texas schools and was employed by the Poplar Bluff School district as a maintenance worker. He enjoyed working in the yard and loved to fish. He is survived by a step-daughter, Sandy Anderson of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one brother, Delford Moore of St. Louis; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and a loving home maker, Margaret Colter, all who loved him unconditionally. Johnny was preceded by three brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be at 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 P.M. at Three Springs Cemetery. The Rev. Ralph Mayes will officiate.
