James Lashley

James Lashley, 69, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Fredericktown, Missouri.

He was born on May 16, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Howard Lashley and Corine (Walther) Lashley. On May 16, 1977 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri James married Judy Kelley.

James enjoyed going fishing and camping, working on old cars, spending time outdoors, enjoyed good food. He especially loved spending time with his family.

James is survived by his wife, Judy Lashley; one son, Gary Shearon; one daughter, Amanda Lashley; one brother, Vance Lashley; one sister, Brenda Bjorneby; and one grandchild, Kaylee Brown. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Corine Lashley. A host of family and friends survive.

Celebration of Life will be May 16, 2026 at James and Judy’s home. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
