James Robert Feldmeier, 79, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 07, 2026, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with his loving family by his side.

He was born on December 24, 1946, in Redbud, Illinois, to Robert Louis Feldmeier and Clara (Gorddel) Feldmeier. In 2018, in Green Valley, Arizona James married Lana Lane.

James enjoyed collecting college ball caps; playing golf, and a cold drink. He especially loved spending time with friends and

James is survived by loving wife, Lana Feldmeier; one sister, Jane (Tom) Harte; one nephew Thomas (Leah) Harte, II; one niece, Jill (Brent) Gaither; one great nephew, Thomas Harte, III; and one great niece, Chloe Gaither. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Robert and Clara Feldmeier. A host of family and friends survive.
