Galen Roy Pickard

Galen Roy Pickard, 61, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on June 10, 2025.

He was born on August 12, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Alvin Pickard, Sr. and Lola (Cartwright) Pickard.

Galen was a long-time resident of Poplar Bluff. He loved to share stories about his life, and his adventures. He was a man of God, that enjoyed life, loved his family, and was an amazing mentor.

Galen is survived by two sons, William Pickard, and Michael Burn; one daughter, Melissa Burns; three brothers, Terry Pickard, Wayne Pickard, and Jimmy Case; three nephews, Dustin Pickard, Dan Elder, and Cameron Pickard; one niece, Kaci Pickard; one great niece Amelia Pickard; and two great nephews, Lucas Pickard, and Randall Pickard, II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Pickard, Sr. and Lola Pickard; and two brothers, Alvin Pickard, Jr. and Gary Pickard. A host of family and friends survive.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
