Faye Ellen Helton

Faye Ellen Helton, 65, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 17, 1960, in Raceland, Louisiana, to Julius Hebert and Isabelle (Matherne) Hebert.

Faye was a long-time resident of Butler County. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, and going to church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Faye is survived by two daughters, Dawn Smith, and Amber McCraw; three brothers, Chad Hebert, Dale (Darlene) Hebert, and Paul Hebert; two sisters, Nanette Hebert-Prestenbach, and Elizabeth Elliot; four grandchildren, Aryanna Smith, Sierra Smith, Austin Markham, and Jacoby Berlin; and one great grandchild, Phoenix Ray. She is preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Isabelle Hebert; one brother, John Hebert; and three sisters, Julie Naquin, Belita Naquin, and Patty Elliot. A host of family and friends also survive.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all funeral arrangements.
