Elvie J. Fann

Elvie J. Fann, 96, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013. He was born March 5, 1917 in Montgomery County Arkansas. He was a longtime resident of Ripley Co. He was of the Baptist faith. He married Mildred Pulliam in Senath Mo. January of 1943. She survives. Mr. Fann was a farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and whittling. Also surviving are one son; Bill Fann of Doniphan, Mo., one daughter; great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, Jefferson D. Fann and Margaret Helen Vandover Fann, one daughter, Helen Marie French and one granddaughter Therese Fann. A graveside service will be Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Gum Cemetery in Fairdealing, Mo. The Rev. Calvin Buhler will officiate. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
