Eddie Nichols

born September 9, 1924 in Poplar Bluff and a life time resident. He was of the baptist faith. Eddie was a self employed owner/operator of Nichols Waste Disposal. He loved riding and trading horses. He is survived by one son, Michael Nichols; two daughters, Vickie Mills and Shirley Nichols; two sisters, Bobbie Jo Waddell and Tommie Beckham; two grandchildren, and four great-granchildren, all of Poplar Bluff. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Maggie Timmerman Nichols, and his wife Ivy Nichols. There will be a graveside service Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home.
