Deltha V. Thorsrud

Deltha V. Thorsrud, 84, of Poplar Bluff, MO, died May 30, 2019 at Oakdale Care Center.  She was born July 21, 1934 in Wardell, MO to the late Oscar F. Hankins and Onnie Estes Hankins.  Deltha was a member of the Midland Street General Baptist Church.

She married Arthur Thorsrud at Piggot, AR in 1965.  He preceded her in death June 4, 1987.  Deltha was a home maker who enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and watching Cardinal baseball.

She is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Gimblett of Maple Wood, MO; and two granddaughters, Mallory Gimblett of St Louis MO and Chelsea Tanner of Poplar Bluff.  She was also preceded iin death by a daughter, Cathy Tanner and several brothers and a sister.

A visitation is scheduled for Wed. June 5, 2019 at 11 AM at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel.  The funeral will follow at noon.  Elder Robert Duckett will officiate.  Burial will be at City Cemetery.
