Dawn Marie Wahby

Dawn Marie Wahby, 55, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Westwood Hills Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

Dawn was born on August 30, 1969, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Richard Lee Owens and Patricia (Wood) Owens.

She enjoyed playing drums, traveling and playing golf with friends. Dawn especially loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Dawn is survived by her daughter Honnah Marie Wahby of Elliott, Illinois; one brother, Jason (Kelly) Owens of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Rebecca (Rodney) Simpson of Poplar Bluff, and Jennifer (Steven) Voss of St. Louis; and her stepfather Kenneth (Patti) Davis. Dawn is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Owens and Patricia Davis. A host of family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, August 04, 2025, at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel at 366 College Street. Celebration of Life will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jason Jordan officiating. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
