David Gene Voegtlin

David Gene Voegtlin, Jr., 53, of Neelyville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

David was born July 29, 1970, in Saint Louis, Missouri to David Gene Voegtlin, Sr. and Brenda (Pollitte) Langley.  David married Misty LaRue on July 14, 1991, in Poplar Bluff.

He enjoyed building model cars and trucks, working on vehicles, and collecting Elvis’s memorabilia.  David especially loved spending time with his family.

David is survived by his wife: Misty Voegtlin; two daughters: Tiffany Farr, of Salem and Kristin LaRue of Neelyville; four brothers: Michael (Renee) Voegtlin, Charles Langley, Edgar (Samantha) Langley, and John (Jessica) Langley all of Poplar Bluff; two sisters Brenda Burks of Poplar Bluff, and Etha Link of Fairdealing; five grandchildren; and very close friend Wayne Schmidt.  David was preceded in death by his parents: David Voegtlin and Brenda Langley.  A host of family and friends also survive.

There are no services scheduled at this time.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
