Clint “Scooter” DeWayne Crouch, Jr., 42, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born on February 23, 1984, to Clint Crouch, Sr. and Shauna King.

Clint enjoyed listening to music, drinking coffee, watching movies. He loved reading and explaining the bible to anyone who had questions. Above all, Clint loved spending time with his family and friends.

Clint is survived by his father, Clint Crouch, Sr.; his step mother, Bobbie Crouch; his mother, Shauna King; stepfather, Daniel Vredenburg; one son, Shawn Ace Crouch; one sister, Karla Elliott; six brothers, Kenny (Nuvia Cruz), Brandon (Grace Tutor), Justin Crouch, Kevin (Jessica) Crouch, Cody Nattier, and Tyler (Allie) Shepherd; grandmother, Carolyn Shepherd; girlfriend, Brittney Currie; aunts, Clydell Crouch, Carol Pezner, Sue Littrel, and Tina Buckhanan; several aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his grandmothers, Imogene Crouch, Irene Carnahan, and Jeanette Reese; grandfathers, Vernon Crouch, Gerald Stowe, and John Earnest King; uncles, Larry Crouch, and Jerry Crouch; and aunt Virginia Hopper. A host of family and friends survive.

Celebration on life will be held at a later date. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
