Carl Hillis

17, 2014 at his residence. Carl was born November 26, 1957 in Poplar Bluff to the late Raymond Hillis and Gladys L. Page Hillis. He was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff. Carl was of the Pentecostal faith. He married Dinah Groves, April 4, 1975 in Williamsville, Mo. She survives. Carl held a janitorial position at the Nordyne Factory. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Also surviving is one son, Tim Groves of Fenton, Mo.; one daughter, Samantha Garrett of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Tom Hillis of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Barbara Rommel and Louise McNamee both of Poplar Bluff, and Betty Robertson of Williamsville, Mo.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him were three brothers, Frank Hillis, William Hillis, and Charles Hillis; and two sisters, Sharon Dunn and Edith Robertson. A graveside service will be Thursday at City Cemetery at 2 P.M.
